Reading Notes: Narayan's Mahabharata- Part C
These notes are from The Mahabharata by R.K Narayan printed in 1998 (Book Version), chapter "Servitude"
- Duryodhana is scared because the Pandavas' exile is almost over- oh nooo.
- He is using spies
- I want to learn more about the spies!
- Did the spies make up the information about Kichaka, or are they just trying to please the king?
- The king thinks that the Pandavas died/ he's wrong of course-this king is kinda silly
- Someone suggests that they make peace! Good idea
- He's trying to add more time to the Pandavas exile- looks like he's trying to expose them! When will this feud end??
- I still get confused on who is who lol
- So now there's chariot racing/fighting and the Prince is freaking out (that sounds like me!)
- The Prince is running away-- I hope he's going to be okay.
- Arjuna is showing off his bow-guess it's supper cool and old and awesome!
- Arjuna is getting ready for battle! He tied up his hair lol
- All they want to do is fight-no one wants to be friends :/
- Now they are going to gang up on Arjuna.
- Arjuna is ready to do war!
- The war ended and the king is happy!
- Time to celebrate!
- The king is kinda a jerk-he cut Yudhistira's head! Not cool
- The battle scene was a bit quick- i feel like it concentrated on before the battle and after- the actual battle was short! I think I would like to know more about the spies and get more detail on the war-- both things would add more to the story
- Also, I'm not a fan of the king. Some one should take him down!
